Breakfast is an event at Burnside B&B and we pride ourselves on the choice and the quality as well as the Cumbrian provenance and the quantity! We even have a Visit England Breakfast Award.

Sharon offers everything you would expect in a Full English breakfast and a Burnside breakfast offers plenty of things that might surprise you, like waffles with toffee sauce, pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, omelettes and veggie sausages – all home-made – and a range of herbal teas. Burnside B&B also caters for special dietary requirements with gluten-free and vegan breakfast options available.

Burnside sources all ingredients locally or from Fairtrade suppliers, including all our bacon, sausage, black pudding, coffee and tea. We only use local free-range eggs in our breakfasts and everything is cooked fresh to order. We’ll even fill flasks of tea and coffee for you, free of charge.

Breakfast is served between 8.15am and 9.00am and it can be pre-ordered for the promptest service if you’re keen to get out and about for your day.

Please ask if you have any queries at all – we want every breakfast to set you up for a great day out in Cumbria and we have been awarded the highest food hygiene rating by Cumberland Council.
