Location

Burnside is a homely, family-run B&B within 15-20 minutes walking distance of Keswick’s Market Place and close to Derwentwater and the amenities of this Lake District gem. That walk into town is off road too, along a dedicated bridleway (Keswick to Threlkeld route) that you can join from our doorstep.

Our location also means that we have excellent road links from all directions and you can be out into the stunning landscapes of the Lake District’s Northern Fells in minutes. The Northern Lakes X4/X5 bus route between Penrith and Workington and Keswick to Lancaster route 555 which goes through the South Lakes, is just round the corner a few 100 yds from our door if you’re keen to use public transport during your stay.

Whether it’s family favourites, outdoors activities and walking or wet weather options, there’s lots to do in and around Keswick and Burnside B&B makes a great base for exploring this beautiful area.
