From the North, leave the M6 motorway at Junction 40 and turn left onto the A66 heading towards Keswick. Follow this road for approximately 15 miles until you reach the Keswick turn off. You will find Burnside B&B on the right towards the bottom of this road, just before the T junction.

From the South, leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and turn left onto the A591 heading towards Windermere. Follow this road for about 20 miles until you reach the traffic lights just south of Ambleside. Take the left fork passing the Waterfront Hotel your right and follow this road round through Ambleside, turning left at the traffic lights at the top of the road. Follow this road for approximately 15 miles until you come to the turning for "Cockermouth" on your right hand side. Turn right and you will find Burnside B&B immediately on the left-hand side of the road. The parking lane is just a few yards away on the opposite side of the road.
